Comment on the plans for “Canterbury Riverside”

Many of you are very concerned about the plans for the development of the old Serco site on the corner of Sturry Road and Kingsmead Road, now called “Canterbury Riverside”. So you may be interested the updated drawings which are due to be uploaded onto the council’s planning site this week, reference number CA/17/02092 – Canterbury Riverside, Kingsmead and Sturry Road.

There are amended drawings in relation to Blocks B6 and H. You can view the drawings or comment on the application online at www.canterbury.gov.uk/planningsearch, quoting the reference above.

Comments must arrive on or before 18 January 2018

  1. To be honest …. this area has already been ruined by the nasty blocks of flats that were built on playing fields the other side of the river . A precious river side environment and walk was destroyed during that project . I’d rather walk into Canterbury along the A28 these days . I’m happy about the cinema but not about all the new homes .. no doubt putting even more pressure on local gp surgeries etc . The UK is turning into a shit hole.
