Mark these dates in your diary if you would like to take up the invitation of free access to some of Canterbury’s most outstanding locations within the built environment.
There are 23 landmark sites to be visited on this year’s programme of Heritage Open Days, including both old and new examples, such as the award-winning Sibson Building at the University of Kent, the nuclear bunker in Victory Wood and the Herne Windmill.
The Canterbury Society runs this great annual celebration of our heritage and we thank Diana Holbrook most warmly for taking a lead on this.
Details are in the leaflets which are now being distributed and on the website www.heritageopendays.org.uk, under Canterbury. Please check the website before visiting as the individual locations are open only on particular days and times.
