After the elections on 7 May 2015, we have a Canterbury City Council which is new in many different ways.
First it has a new political make-up, with three Labour members, three Liberal Democrats, two councillors who represent UKIP, and 31 councillors representing the Conservative Party. You can see the full list HERE.
Secondly, it is smaller than the previous council, with only 39 as opposed to 50 members.
And thirdly, it will be differently organised. The previous system of governance, characterised by an Executive with a Strong Leader, is being replaced by the Committee system.
