Talk at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 15 March in the Friends Meeting House, the Friars
Paul Bennett is Director of the Canterbury Archaeological Trust and his talks always throw a vivid light on the history of our city. He writes:
‘There are some really interesting projects in progress at the moment, with more to come later this year, not least a major excavation beneath the former Slatters Hotel on St Margaret’s Street. I will review a few of the projects recently completed or in progress, including historic buildings, and say something of the campaign to keep the Canterbury Heritage Museum in the Poor Priest’s Hospital’.
All very welcome. Refreshments provided. Charge of £3.00 for non-members of the Canterbury Society
