The Canterbury Heritage Design Forum, CHDF

The CHDF – which was previously known as the Canterbury Conservation Advisory Committee, or CCAC – is a group of residents and professionals that works to preserve and enhance the heritage environment of the City of Canterbury, promoting good design and an awareness of our heritage as it is contained in our buildings & urban townscape.

The committee comprises voluntary representatives of professional organisations, including the Royal Institute of British Architects, Society for Protection of Ancient Buildings, Landscape Institute, and Royal Town Planning Institute, together with representatives of local amenity groups and local institutions including the University of Kent, Residents’ Associations, and local business organisations.
