The University of Kent is currently consulting on its Framework Master Plan for the future of the campus. There have been several opportunities to see the plans and discuss them with university representatives.
Consultation will continue through November 2018, with local people being invited to comment on the Plan and feedback comments before it is submitted to the City Council. Many Canterbury Society members have been concerned about the proposal to build a hotel/conference centre on the university’s land next to the Japanese college and below the Innovation Centre. You can give your views on the Master Plan on the Feedback form, which you can find by clicking here.
