Canterbury Society’s Annual General Meeting
Join us for our 2026 Annual General Meeting on 23rd September– held in the Cosy Club in the heart of the city. Our guest speaker this year is Lydia Franklin, Conservation Officer for SAVE Britain’s Heritage. The proposed talk would introduce SAVE’s national work protecting historic buildings and places, as well as reference their publication “Canterbury Take Care”, which highlights heritage issues in the city and outlines wider challenges currently facing the historic environment across the UK.
The formal AGM will start at 7pm followed by the evening talk and Q&A.
Whether you’re a long-standing member or just curious about what we do, you’re very welcome to join us.
Doors open 6.30pm and refreshments are available to purchase from the ground floor bar and can be taken in the lift next to the bar to the 2nd floor function room.
Free entry – open to all members (and those considering membership). No RSVP required
AGM Agenda & Papers: Available from 1st September
