Canterbury Society’s Annual General Meeting
Join us for our 2026 Annual General Meeting – held at the Fruitworks Co-Working venue in the heart of the city. Our guest speaker this year is Lydia Franklin, Conservation Officer for SAVE Britain’s Heritage. The proposed talk would introduce SAVE’s national work protecting historic buildings and places, as well as reference their publication “Canterbury Take Care”, which highlights heritage issues in the city and outlines wider challenges currently facing the historic
environment across the UK.
The formal AGM will run from 7:00–7:30pm, followed by the evening talk and Q&A.
Whether you’re a long-standing member or just curious about what we do, you’re very welcome to join us.
Doors open 6.30pm and refreshments available to purchase from the on-site Café (open until 7pm)
Free entry – open to all. No RSVP required
AGM Agenda & Papers: Available from 1st September
