East Kent Mind has launched the new grassroots Revival Community Awards for the Canterbury district which the Canterbury Society is supporting – and would urge you to submit nominations.

The event will celebrate individuals making a positive impact locally and will be supported by the Lord Mayor of Canterbury who has selected East Kent Mind as her Charity of the Year.

This is not just about wellbeing. Categories are broad-ranging and include staff and volunteers from charities, sports clubs, educational establishments, businesses, council and NHS. These awards are not just for those in leadership – they are to thank those on the frontline – the community champions and unsung heroes whose dedication and effort deliver small but vital successes to their organisation or cause.

In essence, these awards will celebrate the individuals reviving our community, businesses, clubs and charities.

Nominations will be accepted until mid January. An awards celebration will take place on March 29th 2026.
