Talk: Canterbury District Transport Strategy

The Blean, Hackington and Tyler Hill Society have organised an illustrated talk by Cllr Alex Ricketts, a District Councillor for Blean and Kent County Councillor for Canterbury North. Alex played a key role in the draft district transport strategy.

The transport strategy supports the draft Local Plan 2026, aiming for growth (25,407 new dwellings by 2042 – 43) without significant new road building. The strategy proposes an enhanced sustainable transport network with a focus on public transport and low-carbon travel.
