The Canterbury Society organised a super event at Godmersham House on 17th May and twenty members attended.
The weather was glorious and the lovely staff (including Jane Austen in full costume!) gave us a talk in the old Church and showed us around the Heritage Centre, beautiful gardens and extensive grounds. We ended our visit with a tour of the Georgian House (not normally open to the public) and a lovely afternoon tea in the dining room overlooking the gardens.
