Hosted by East Kent Mind, the Augustine Hall was packed with charitable organisations and the volunteer winners they had nominated in various categories.

The Canterbury Society was delighted to have both our nominees recognised as Community Champions – Geraldine Fish in the ‘Green’ category for her work in Solly’s Orchard, Abbots Mill and the Butterfly Garden, and Martin Vye for 50 years of service in the community, spanning education, civic society and poverty action.

Martin also won the overall Champion Award for outstanding community service.
