Do you have a head for numbers and a few spare hours a month?

The Canterbury Society is looking for a new Honorary Treasurer to oversee our small charity’s finances. We’re an active local group run entirely by volunteers, working to improve life in Canterbury through litter picks, talks, planning responses, heritage projects, and civic campaigns.

Our long-standing Treasurer has stepped down after seven years, and we’re now looking for someone who can help us:

– Keep simple financial records
– Monitor our bank and Stripe account
– Support the committee with occasional reports
– Oversee Gift Aid and an annual return

You don’t need to be a qualified accountant — just reliable, organised, and confident with basic spreadsheets and figures. We use QuickBooks and online banking (Bankline), but full support and a handover will be given.
